Season 5: The Svajone Family

Last Round: These two returned from college and had a wedding ceremony to tie the knot. They found jobs, Tanner in his chosen career, Meadow went into Education for now. The couple went on a honeymoon to the islands and had a good time, and Meadow came back home pregnant.

(Editor's Note: This family also had a "glitch" of a kind in Meadow's pregnancy.  The baby would not come.  So we spent the first couple of days waiting for the baby until I finally did a de-bug on Meadow and then the baby came without issue.  I'm not sure where these problems have suddenly cropped up from but I'm hoping the hood isn't headed for disaster.)

We join the couple playing some chess at the start of the season.  Meadow is very pregnant as we left her at the end of the last round.  I also realize that I put Meadow into the Education career instead of Law Enforcement, so she beings looking for a job in that field.

Jaiden comes over one day and her and Meadow talk about all kinds of things.  Meadow was still in uni when Jaiden started, and they were in the greek house together for a while.  With Jaiden preparing to get married this round I'm sure she and Meadow have a lot to talk about.

Late one-night tragedy struck!  There was a burglar.  I noticed him right away and was able to wake Tanner up to call the cops.  The police came and won the fight against the criminal, but he had gotten away with the piano, tv, and one of the couples gold doubloons from their honeymoon.

 

Finally after debugging her Meadow goes into labor and we finally get to see what the young couple will have.  There is only one baby, and it's a baby boy.  He gets the Nameberry popular name #70 from 2017, Lucas.  Welcome, Lucas Svajone!!!

The couple hires a nanny and they make sure to tip her well.  She does manage to feed the baby and only 1 or 2 bottles per feeding.  She does leave him with a dirty diaper for a good portion of the day and lays him down on the floor, but then immediately picked him up and put him back in his crib.  So I guess, she isn't the worst sim nanny ever?

Before we know it it is time for Lucus to have a birthday.  A ton of people are invited over to celebrate with the family, although Tanner had to work so he was unable to attend.

 Meadow brings baby Lucus to the cake, and sadly, nothing happens.  Standard birthday cake glitch.  The baby's diaper was dirty, so after a quick change we try again and this time baby Lucus grows up into a toddler.  He is an Aquarius who is middle of the road neat and outgoing.  Decently playful and nice but fairly lazy.  It was a good thing Meadow isn't a pop sim because the party ended up a disaster due to the cake glitch, but everyone is happy all the same.

Life returns basically to normal for the young couple.  They study their needed skills for promotions, and the baby plays with his rabbit head.

Tanner takes some time one day towards the end of spring to play with Lucus and read him a story.  Lucas was very happy to have his dad spend so much time with him.

Meadow, as you can see, did find a job in her chosen field, and comes home promoted and with a friend.  Tanner entertains the friend while Meadow spends some time with her son, and teaches him a nursery rhyme. Mother and child become best friends because of this.  Shortly after Tanner finishes up potty training as well.

Season 4: The Svajone Family

These two were last in university and did well, gaining all the special points possible in university.  They were both founding members of the greek house, members of the secret society, summa cum laude, and big sims on campus.

With the money Tanner and Meadow were able to bring home from university they updated Tanner's house to fit the two of them, and with a little extra room for any new members that come along.

Carla Mimoza came by to visit, and she is almost ready to have her baby.  Tanner whips up some grilled cheese and they eat in the new dinning room.

Meadow joined them a little while later.  Carla and Meadow are able to chit chat about moving here for the first time, and getting to know their way around better.  Meadow grew up near Clovercrest, of course, but living here is different.

The couple heads down to the plaza to gather things for their new life together and get some wedding clothes.  Meadow decides to change up her look a little bit. Tanner decides his look is just fine.

 Both wanted to play with the pets in the pet store, so they went there and Tanner played with the bird in a cage.  Neither wanted to own a pet, or wished for other pet things so the couple went home.

They shared a dinner and you get a chance to see Meadow's new look.  I cannot remember for sure, but I'm pretty sure both found jobs in their chosen career's.

Unlike the rest of the houses, since these guys moved into a house that had been used by Tanner before, it is currently winter.  Most everyone else is enjoying summer. Since so much snow had fallen Meadow went out and built a snowman.

Meadow did get her job, and came home with the pregnant Samantha.  She is a townie, and will be perpetually pregnant.

The day of the wedding arrived, and even though snow was still covering the ground they were holding the wedding outside.  Practically everyone they knew was invited.

Meadow and Tanner waited for their guests to be seated.  I love Meadow in her dress, she looks so pretty to me.

The couple is now husband and wife.  Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Tanner Savajone.

Then the toasting started, as it always does if you buy the bubbly. Many people wanted to toast the happy couple, including Eugene Morpheus.

The couple shared a private moment as all the guests started eating and enjoying the party.

Once the party was done the newlyweds hoped into the airport taxi services and headed off to their honeymoon.

I'm sure while Carla was visiting earlier she gave the couple plenty of tips about where she was from.  The couple landed on the island and went to their hotel.

After checking in, and without even waiting to change out of their winter outerwear attire they headed to the beach to make a sand castle.

The hula was already starting to spread in Clovercrest, so the happy couple join in, much more appropriately clad in swimwear.

In their more normal attire, which still seams too warm for the tropical climate, Meadow raises the jolly roger.

After playing around on the pirate ship the couple visited the monuments and enjoyed relaxing by the running water.

At the end of a busy day they relaxed in the hot springs.  Why Meadow still wanted to use her wet suit I'm not sure...must get her another bathing suit when we get back to these guys.

The honeymoon over the couple headed home and got into a routine of daily activity.  Both needed some logic skills so they practiced away.

Over the chess game Meadow announces that either at the end of the honeymoon or shortly after they returned, she became pregnant.  A new little Savjone is one the way.

We will have to wait until next round to see what they have as that is all the time for this round.

Season 3: Svajone/ Ramiel Families

As these two families are currently empty due to the single sim teens being in university there is no additional update on these two houses for Round 3.  They will begin again in round 4 when the teens finish university and move back home.  I will keep them in the same order, and will count this as the 5 days (or one round) they are "missing" from their homes.

Season 2: The Svajone Family

Last Time: The last time we saw Tanner he was working through living by himself and trying to handle the pressures of school, holding down a job and making ends meet.

To start off Tenner wanted to throw a party on Sunday, so he invited nearly everyone he knew.  Most of them showed up.

Tanner became best friends with Darin Ramiel during the party and it ended up as a good party.

Trying to find someone else to talk to and get to know we had Tanner head down to the bowling alley.  There weren't many people there so he did a little bowling and went home.

When he got home we stopped and greeted Tosha Go.  They talked a bit and then she left.  There isn't much there for them.

Tanner invited his friend Meadow over and they became best friends.  During a snow ball fight Tanner started looking at her a little differently.

After they came inside we find that Meadow was thinking the same and both kids fall in love.  There is only one-bolt of attraction but since Tanner's turn-ons are Zombiism and Witches who aren't also cursed with Lychanthropy this could possibly be adjusted later.

Meadow brought a piano to the house, which got loaded into Tanner's backpack for later use after college.

Then, on the final day of being a teenager Tanner came home fired from a chance card....again  So he didn't get any sort of scholarship for a job, but he's done decently as a teenager, and has a love to come to college with him.
